ABOUT VFP

Venture For Pakistan is a Summer Fellowship for University Students who want to become the founders of tomorrow and help build Pakistan’s tech ecosystem from the ground up. 
‍
Venture for Pakistan recruits top undergraduate students, puts them through rigorous training supplemented with a robust industry-focused curriculum and matches them with hands-on internship opportunities at startups. 
‍
Fellows will then receive 1:1 coaching and mentorship from industry professionals at top technology companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, Uber etc. This experience consists of direct coaching of how to break into tech,  its various career paths and the art of packaging work experiences on to resumes and in interviews.

Assess

VFP will review applications to select Fellows using our talent assessment process and will send out all decisions by end of April/ early May

VFP will use partner needs & requirements to match Fellows based on their existing skillset and professional aspirations

VFP sends out offers and once the program starts, Fellows have the following 3 pillars to focus on: Internship + Industry-Focused Learning + Career Mentorship

Accelerate

Fellows use what they’ve learnt to build startup communities on campus and accelerate our ecosystem into the future!

Demystifying startups, its fundamentals, tools for success and guiding principles to solve critical business challenges

VFP THINKTANK

Introductions to multidisciplinary roles such as Product Management, User Experience Design, Data Science, Business Development with masterclasses from young industry professionals in the industry and keynotes from industry executives.

ACCELERATOR

One-on-One personal coaching and mentorship from professionals at top tech companies such as Google, Facebook, Uber, Amazon, Square, Doordash etc.
